We We help bereaved parents to ease funeral costs after road death

Story

Tomorrow I am taking part in  a walk from Halifax to Blackpool around 55 miles over 3 days. I will be accompanied by my 86 year older dad, Peter. We will be camping Wednesday and Thursday night so it’s not going to be easy. I am hoping me and my dad can raise funds for the Naomi Cheri Gough foundation. I know it’s been a very difficult time for many with the pandemic but we will be grateful for whatever you can spare to support this wonderful charity.

Thank you Marie and Peter

As a charity we aim to help bereaved parents/guardians with the sudden and tragic road death of a child up to the age of 25. No parent is ever financially or emotionally prepared for such a loss. We offer help with funeral costs and also give emotional support at such a sad time. We also deliver a very powerful presentation in schools throughout the country to educate our future drivers of the possible consequences of irresponsible driving.

About the charity

The death of a loved one on the roads is a very traumatic time for anyone. To lose a child/dependant under 25 years of age is unimaginable. Quite often insurance is not in place for the sudden and unexpected expense, no parent is prepared. We help lift that burden and also give much needed support.
