Living on the bright and sunny side of the world in Dubai we realise often how blessed we are. So it is time to give something back and for that reason we are not taking the easiest route...Starting from the world's most dangerous airport at Lukla (very scary already) we are going to trek 15 days to the Everest Base Camp. The trek will be 130 kilometers long and reaching the Base Camp at an altitude of 5,364 meters. Having some experience with climbing up Kilimanjaro we already know that this isn't going to be an easy one, both mentally and physically. But we can (hopefully) do it together with your support!! The wonderful people at Reuben's are currently renovating the Retreat to create a home for bereaved families and families living with a child suffering from a life threatening or limiting condition. Every little Penny counts to give those a home and sanctuary who need it the most.

Reuben’s Retreat was founded in August 2012, just 2 days after Reuben Graham died aged just 23 months old. His mother Nicola created the charity to help others who are facing or already dealing with similar heartbreak, walking side-by-side with families offering emotional and practical support for parents and siblings bereaved of a child and for families of life limited or threatened children who face uncertain futures.
