Our family are very proud to be the new custodians of the 18th century Dumbuck House Hotel.

Since taking over just two years ago we've ploughed a lot of love (and a tonne of cash) into restoring our grand old dame to help get her back to where she belongs - at the heart of the community.

In more than 100 years operating as a hotel, the Dumbuck has played host to literally thousands of weddings, christenings, funerals and family parties - the great milestones of life. 

We value our town and we're committed to supporting it which is why we've adopted Marie Curie as our in-house charity for the past two years.

Every penny we raise for Marie Curie, will stay in the Dumbarton area postcode to help 'buy' free professional nursing care at home for individuals with a range of terminal conditions, including cancer.

Marie Curie bring light in the darkest hours to families struggling to cope at a crisis point. Typically their nurses provide free, high-quality, hands-on nursing care to individuals at home between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am.

When a nurse is with an individual, the family can rest, knowing they are safe, comfortable and well-cared for.

Just £20 'buys' one hour of care, £180 buys a full night shift.

In 2015 we raised over £5000 for Marie Curie's community nursing service in the Dumbarton area, helping our neighbours have the dignity at the end of life they so deserve. This year, we intend to match if not better it. Please support our events, enter our RAFFLE, or donate what you can, when you can.
