Story
Marilyn passed away on Monday 16th December at around 6am. She died peacefully in hospital, was not in pain and had her loving husband Ray with her.
Marilyn died from a brain haemorrhage which she suffered the previous Monday. From an early stage, the doctors advised that it was very unlikely she would recover from the coma.
Marilyn's immediate family were at her bedside for the final days. During this time, we all talked and laughed at the many good times we shared together and the happy memories we have - we know Marilyn will have taken those with her.
We have chosen the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) because they do excellent work in assisting the recovery of those who have suffered a brain injury.
The funeral will be held on 07 January 11:00 at Rawdon Crematorium, Leeds Road, Rawdon, LS19 6JP, all are welcome to join us in celebrating Marilyn's life.
