If this is not your first time supporting me then you will know that I  personally have been affected by cancer and therefore would like to do whatever I can to help other people affected by this illness. I am hoping to be able to make a difference to other people's lives by supporting Macmillan charity which is so close to me and millions of other people. 

As an ordinary non medically trained people we do not know much about cancer, why we get it, how can we prevent it and how can we cope with it once you are diagnosed. Well, Macmillan charity does just that - they help you find your best way through from the moment of diagnosis to your recovery, so you’re able to live life as fully as you can. 

Not many people are aware that Macmillan nurses who provide people with life-saving support and advice are not paid via NHS and are actually fully paid from Macmillan Charity who in turn raises its funds from fundraising events and donations. So what you donate today is an incredible help to this charity. 

I have done my first 10km run for Macmillan in early 2017. This year so far I have done 10km run, marathon walk (26 miles) and now preparing for my first half marathon run on 14th October. Although I have so far raised over £2,500 over the last two years of fundraising I am determined to hit another £500, so please be generous :)
