Some people just can't help making a difference in our lives.  By simply being who they are, they make the world a little brighter, a little warmer, a little gentler, and when they're gone we realise how lucky we are to have known them.  My dad was one of these people.  And by the generosity of family and friends who either knew him or attended his funeral service, both at home and abroad, these funds will go, hopefully, towards the purchase of an electric bed at the Beatson Oncology Unit.
