The picture above is Michelle at Tony's 65th Birthday party, just before her diagnosis. She continued to work through chemotherapy and also started a Masters Degree in Child Public Health and Child Protection, despite her illness, she gained a distinction. Michelle made a huge impact on the field of Child Protection and was one of the leading experts in the field. 

The Michelle Zalkin Scholarship has been created to allow other talented professionals working with children to develop and hone their skills in this area. Successful applicants will receive a fully funded place on the same Masters course that Michelle undertook. We hope that in the future, there are many people like Michelle working in this vital field of work. Protecting just one child from harm will be success. Perhaps we can protect many.

The Michelle Zalkin Scholarship is administered by UCL. The Masters degree is run by The Institute of Child Health, a UCL body. This is a prestigious degree and your generosity will help children for years to come.
