Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Thanks for visiting my just giving page in aid of Myton Hospices.  I am running the 2010 London Marathon in aid of Myton Hospices and Macmillan Cancer Support.

So that Gift Aid can be applied to donations, we are required to have two separate pages.  If you would like to donate in aid of Myton, you can do so here.  If you would like to donate in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, please visit http://www.justgiving.com/Mark-Booth-Macmillan.  If you would like to donate to both, thank you.

The Myton Hospices are a registered charity and all their services are provided free of charge to their patients. They rely on voluntary donations to raise the money needed to provide their special klnd of care - care which ensures, when you need it most, that:

- you have privacy and dignity at all time

- you are involved in planning and delivering care if you wish to do so, having provided information about care, treatment or illness with the time for discussion with staff, family and carers

- your wishes are respected, understood and adhered to wherever practically possible

- you are greeted in an open and honest environment to share hopes, worries, fears and concerns.
