Blakeney to Longlevens 2014 cycle ride (plus friends & family) · 26 July 2014

Scoo-B-Doo works alongside Gloucester Royal Special Care Baby Unit to buy the best and most advanced equipment available to help save babies in need of special care. Through it's fundraising efforts for advanced equipment for example - ventilators, incubators and monitors, Scoo-B-Doo helps to give its tiny patients the best possible chance of life.

Story

Our daughter was born 12wks premature (20th March) weighing only 1lb 11ozs by emergency C-section following the diagnosis of pre-eclampsia. She has spent her first 6wks in the neonatal unit and we have approximately another 6wks till she can eventually come home (due date was 13th June).  This has been a rollercoaster ride for us with many ups and downs but the support and care of all the staff that work on the unit has been a huge help to us through this difficult time and we can not say thank you enough for all what they do.

By doing this fund raiser is a way of saying thank you and for raising funds to help the unit purchase new equipment so they can continue to help others like they have our precious daughter.
