I first met Jack as an excitable 17yr old when I became his driving instructor. He always seemed upbeat and positive especially when talking about his favourite subject (most people's nightmare) snakes, spiders and creepy crawlies, something he hadn't mentioned to me until I turned up early for a lesson one day when he was "in the middle of something". 

"Come in! I'm just up in the snake room!" he said. "Big deal" I thought, this scrawny kid has a snake. Imagine my amazement (and horror) when he practically pushes me through an upstairs door into a room teeming with snakes, spiders and other horrors!! I very nearly needed a change of underwear! 

In the years since, any time I bumped into Jack (or any member of his family for that matter) they've always been up for a chat, so I was truly shocked and saddened to hear of Jack's untimely passing on 29th September 2018 at the tender age of 24.

I was privileged to attend his memorial service and have rarely seen a family conduct themselves with such grace, dignity and such obvious love for Jack and each other at such an awful time. 

In the months preceeding his passing Jack recieved additional help and support from Start 360, and so it seems a fitting tribute to both Jack, his parents Tony and Emma, and the whole Wilson family to fundraise on behalf of this local charity.
