10,000 Steps UK · 26 January 2015

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Four members of the BNI Synergy chapter in Peterborough - whose names all begin with M - are the 4Ms team walking in the 10,000 Steps Challenge to raise money for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) which is the chapter's adopted charity.

To hit our target of walking the length of the UK - without actually needing to leave home - each member of the 4Ms must average 10,000 steps per day between the date in January when we started and our finishing date at the beginning of April. We've all been given pedometers to record our steps each day - no cheating!

Every day another 100 people in the UK will start to lose their sight. RNIB  is helping people who are affected by sight loss. It provides emotional support, expert advice, practical products such as Talking Books and training - enabling people to get on with and enjoy everyday life.

Please support the 4Ms as we walk to raise funds for RNIB.
