Thank you to all of you who generously supported my attempt on the London Marathon. I am pleased to say that I managed to complete the course in 4 hours 18 minutes. It was as up lifting and gruelling a challenge as everyone tells you it will be and my feet are incredibly sore as a result. However, it was your support and the thought of the difference that "Adopt a School" can make to so many that got me to the finishing line.   

I am really so grateful for all of your support, thank you for helping to exceed the £2,000 total I had originally hoped for. You can be confident the trust will put it to good use. 

I have decided to support the great work that is done by the Chefs Adopt a School trust who send chefs into schools across the UK encouraging Children to spend time in the kitchen, teaching them about nutrition, the importance of a balanced diet, as well as encouraging them to have fun with real food, and hopefully even inspiring some to become chefs themselves in the future (and lets face it we could use a few extra right now!!)  

I have seen first hand the benefits that the work of Chefs adopt a school has on the Children, for many years I have had the opportunity to work with the Children attending the School within Great Ormond ST Hospital and can vouch for the positive impact it has on the children who sometimes don't get the opportunity to cook at home or learn to experiment with food.
