CEO Sleepout Newcastle · 9 October 2014 ·
As a thank you for sponsoring me you will be in with a chance of winning free tickets for Newcastle V Leicester City. Prize draw to be made after the event...
The Sleepout:
Armed with a sleeping bag, a piece of cardboard and some thermals, I’ll be leaving my gorgeous family and comforts of my bed to sleep rough at St James’ Park on Thursday 9th October to help raise awareness of poverty and homelessness issues across the North East.
Organised by CEO Sleepout in partnership with Newcastle United Foundation and Changing Lives, the night will raise funds to help boost the local work of Depaul UK.
Depaul UK 's Nightstop project is recognised as a huge asset for Tyneside doing incredible work to help the homeless. A lot of Depaul’s work is often unseen - helping vulnerable people to keep off the streets, helping them to stay in work or education and assisting them to build a solid future for the benefit of themselves and the whole community.
Depaul UK has recently witnessed vastly increased demand for its expertise and efforts - now more than ever its work is needed across Tyneside. But money is tight and I’m hoping that my fundraising will help. Even if it helps just one person off the street, it’s a start.
More information can be found here http://www.ceosleepoutuk.com/newcastle.html and keep an eye on my Twitter Feed for live tweets on the night!
