This particular old fat bloke, whose still playing lacrosse and cycling occassionaly, felt it was time to lose some weight, get fitter and thought why not raise some much needed dosh for Diabetes UK at the same time. So, I have entered the Manchester BUPA 10K being run on Sunday 26th May 2012 and I am hoping you will sponsor me for staggering around the course turning purple and sweating profusly - anybody who has seen me run for more than 50 yards will know what I mean!
