We rescue, reunite and rehome dogs and cats to care for them until new homes are found

Story

It breaks my heart to say in 2017 26% of dogs & 28% of Cats that arrived at Battersea's centres were strays. The money we raise by spending the night as a stray and swapping our nice warm bed for a sleeping bag will go towards the care of the abandoned dogs and cats and give as an idea of that they go through :(

One of many stories below to support such a great cause:

A 10 year old dog called Angel was stranded on a busy roundabout when someone picked her up and brought her to Battersea. Worried & anxious on arrival, she was wary of trusting humans (a bit like me) Battersea's clinic team discovered she had several medical issues, needed urgent surgery as well as ongoing medical care for the rest of her life. She wouldn't have survived on the street for much longer. Batterseas caring staff provided her with all the care and love she needed & worked with her to build her confidence back up. It as a long journey& she ended up staying at the centre for over 200 days before finding her forever home.
