Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having cycled for a number of years both mountain biking and road biking, I had the chance to tour "The Way Of The Roses" during March 2017. The Way of the Roses is a 170 mile coast to coast cycle route, usually completed over a three day period, starting from Morcambe Bay and finishing in Bridlington. My total riding time over the three days accumulated to 17 Hours, although I stayed in local B&B's each night to recover.

Over the past 17 years, Ryedale Special Families have provided a wide range of support to both my niece Amelia and her family. This prompted my challenge to ride The Way of the Roses route in one day, but also achieve it within 17 hours. I aim to complete this on June 23rd  2018, to help raise vital funds for this very worthwhile charity.

Thank you for visiting my page, your generosity will further spur me on to complete this epic challenge, which is way beyond any distance I have cycled before.
