Windermere One Way · 3 September 2017

We're an adventure activity centre that enables people with disabilities to take part in activities that develop new skills, build self-confidence, increase independence and start new friendships. Activities include horse riding, climbing, zip-wiring, canoeing, cycling, abseiling and more.

Story

Guy and Katie Brooks who are known to many you have an inspiring daughter named Mia.  Mia is disabled and immobile.  However, many kids like Mia can have a great time doing the things other kids do like climbing, kayaking, sailing and zip wire thanks to the Calvert Trust.

The Brooks Family Bursary will be held and allocated by Guy Brooks for local children, known to the family, who suffer from a disability but cannot afford to pay for residential breaks. The Bursary will pay for these children to have fully funded activity breaks at Calvert Trust, Exmoor – a 5 star activity centre in Devon which specifically caters for disabled children and adults and their carers/families.

 We appreciate the support.
