Story
***UPDATE***
I am pleased to say that over the 4 days I successfully completed 95 miles with only minor blisters..although the last few miles into Bath late on Monday evening were greatly helped with tea & cake from my sister Kate - thanks Kate. I met amazing people on the official Alzheimer's Walk, passed through beautiful countryside on paths which have been followed for hundreds or even thousands of years..The route between Stonehenge and Avebury was especially good. Next time I will take a little longer!
I am still collecting - so if there is any sponsorship you can consider please go head here..
Thank you for your support.

Hello folks
As a 42nd birthday treat I aim to complete a 84 mile walk from Bath to Stonehenge onto Avebury and back to Bath over 4 days, joining an official Alzeimer's 26 mile walk over Salisbury Plain ( which is not usually open to the public) on 11th September.
Please help me raise £840 to fund research into the causes of dementia and how it can be treated. Any support will be much appreciated.I am hoping to raise £20 for each of my years, or £10 for each mile - depending how it feels.
I will leave Bath Abbey at 8am on Friday 9th September and expect to return Monday 12th in the evening. It would be great if anyone can join for sections.. I will update progress on this page and facebook.
All because the answer to Life, the Universe and everything, is of course 42!
Thanks and much love
Mark Adrian Standeven
