Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Mark Ovendale is known to many football fans, particularly from AFC Bournemouth, Northampton Town, Barry Town, Luton Town, York City, Tiverton Town, Carmarthan Town & Newport County.

Fans were rocked recently to hear the news that Mark is fighting cancer in a hospice in Wales. The Friends of Dean Court, a group of AFCB supporters whose aim it is to fundraise for the local community and charity have set this page up in Mark's name, with his permission, with a view to raising funds for Cancer Research, Wales in Mark's name.  AFC Bournemouth have endorsed the Appeal and are fully behind it. Once our target has been reached, Mark's wife Rhiannon will present the cheque on our's and Mark's behalf.

Sadly Mark lost his fight with cancer on 29th August 2011, the Appeals will continue in his name and his memory.  RIP Mark.
