For the last 3 years or so Stuart, Adam and Darren have discussed doing one more marathon!  Adam was adamant that he only wanted to do a marquee marathon (not sure what was wrong with Milton Keynes again) and it seemed from Thomas that the one to do was the Athens Marathon - The Authentic.  Soon after we had decided to enter the race the ever competitive Jamie joined the team and so we are now the Marsh Construction 5!!  As background The Athens Marathon - The Authentic retraces the original route from the town of marathon and finishes at the Panathenaic Stadium in central Athens.

Once we had met all our own entry fees, travel and subsistence costs, and with a substantial amount of match funding available from Marsh Ltd, we decided we should raise money for charity.  Being men of a certain age Men United - Prostate Cancer UK was the obvious charity choice.  Prostate  Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer.
