Founded under the Patronage of Nelson Mandela, Laureus Sport for Good uses sport as a powerful and cost-effective tool to help children and young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage in their lives through a global network of partners in the Sport for Development community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

From a slum in Nairobi to the city with one of the highest rates of youth suicide in Europe, to the territory with one of the highest rates of violence in South Africa. Sport can change lives for the better. In May 2019, 100 inspirational people, all who believe that sport has the power to change the world, will trek 100km's through the Drakensberg Mountain Range to raise money for Laureus Sport for Good. All funds raised will support Laureus in the delivery of crucial programmes in Hong Kong, Ireland, Kenya and South Africa with the aim of changing the lives of young people. I will be spending over 8 hours a day over 4 days on my feet, trekking 100km and wild camping in the remote mountain ranges at night. Please sponsor me on my journey to change lives!
