Girlguiding is the leading charity for girls and young people in the UK. Guiding has been  a part of my life for 22 years and counting. I started as a Rainbow, I am now a Rainbow leader and a District Commissioner. 

Volunteering in Girlguiding has given me opportunities such as flag bearing at Westminster Abbey and completing my Queens Guide Awards, it has also been where I have met friends, raising money for Girlguiding will give me the opportunity to let other girls have the experiences I have had!

My next Guiding challenge will be hiking Machu Pichhu in October 2019, this is one of the new seven wonders of the world and one of the most famous hikes in Peru. The route we will be taking will take us on the Inca trail and along the demanding Dead Women’s Pass, some days we will be walking 8-12 hours.🚶🏼‍♀️⛰🌴
