Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a group of year 11 students who are creating a memorial mosaic for Martin Bacon to go in the dining hall of the new build at Swavesey Village College.

In the centre there will be a mosaic swan (the school logo) created by professional artist Ed Chapman. The swan will be surrounded by 500 pale blue tiles to create a mosaic that is 3m wide by 2.5m high.

We are inviting people to 'buy' a tile for a minimum donation of £10 (£5 for current students). You can then add an inscription which we will write onto the tile and will become part of the permanent mosaic. This might be a memory of Martin, or something along the lines of "Mr Bacon inspired me to..."

To purchase a tile, please make a donation and use the 'Leave a message' box to tell us what you want us to write on your tile.

When you are asked to confirm whether you'd like to add Gift Aid, please untick the box that says 'Yes, add Gift Aid'. Gift Aid should not be claimed on donations made in return for purchases.

Once your donation has gone through, when you see this: “I'm happy to be contacted by" please tick the box next to my name. Justgiving can then share your contact details with us in case we need to contact you.

Thank you!
