Freshfields Animal Rescue has been transforming the lives of abused, abandoned and vulnerable animals across Merseyside and North Wales for over 40 years. They fix up, rehome or release over 2,000 dogs, cats, horses, small animals, birds, farmed animals and local wildlife - including wild birds and hedgehogs each year. They never put a healthy animal down and will help every type of animal and work towards aworld where all people protect animals and value nature.

Matt has always had cats in his life , most of whom have come from Freshfields Animal Rescue. Caring for animals and animal welfare is something very close to Matt’s heart and when we’re finally ready to add a pet to our family Freshfields will be our port of call. 

In celebration of our wedding we are asking our friends and loved ones to make a donation to our chosen charities in lieu of a gift. We’ve no need for any presents but causes like these always need support. Don’t worry about the amount - even a quid will do but we do hope  to see you at our celebration in March.
