Event: Big Black Mountains Challenge
In memory of Lee Cave
We provide support to melanoma patients to help deal with the disease/fund research

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing this challenge in memory of my friend Lee Cave who passed away recently. Lee loved the outdoors and inspired thousands of young people over the years with his boundless enthusiasm. Lee had a real passion for what he did and an infectious sense of adventure. He went out of his way many times to help and support me on my way to becoming an outdoor instructor. Lee was an amazing character who touched many lives and will be fondly remembered by so many. Lee passed away far too young and left behind a loving family and many friends and will be greatly missed. I am doing this challenge to raise money to keep the research going and hopefully stop this happening to others in the future. Thank you very much for your support.

About the charity

Melanoma UK was set up in 2007 in memory of Jon Herron. We support patients and families affected by melanoma (skin cancer) and funds raised help to provide that support. We are funding much needed melanoma nurses along with help in vital research. Melanoma is a cruel disease, still without a cure.
