RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page in memory of William Lorimer McCubbin, who died suddenly on 31 January 2011.

He owed his life to the RNLI, who rescued him from a parlous situation at sea when sailing in his beloved Wychcraft in 2004.

As a result, he was a keen supporter of the RNLI and any donations, however great or small, would be gratefully received.
