Martin's Fawkes & Reece Charity Cycle Challenge 2023

Martin Olney is raising money for World Bicycle Relief

Fawkes & Reece Charity Cycle Challenge 2022 · 24 June 2022

In many rural areas across the globe children are denied access to basic needs due to the barrier of distance. World Bicycle Relief’s mission is to provide sustainable, appropriate bicycles to mobilise and empower individuals and communities so they can travel to schools, clinics and markets.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've been cycling for as long as I can remember - since maybe 4 years old - and covered thousands of mile of road, gravel, trails, muddy fields racing CX and occasionally the boards of the local velodrome.  It's always been a huge part of my life both riding and now coaching as a British Cycling Coach as well.

World Bicycle Relief is a charity that provides bikes and the means to service and repair them to children and adults in third world countries enabling them to enjoy cycling for fun, and to commute to go to school, to work, or to trade and buy goods in neighbouring towns and villages.

Every £400 raised buys a new bike for someone, so please join us in the New Forest on 3rd September for the ride and make a donation.
