Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

I am taking part in the Enduro Challenge 2014 representing Credit Suisse and supporting the Parkinson’s UK, who do great work trying to find a cure for Parkinson's and improving the life of everyone affected by it.

The race will take place between August 29 and 31. Three teams of six triathletes will be running from the Tower of London to Dover, swimming across the English Channel to Calais, and finally cycling to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Each team member will complete a roughly equal share of each discipline.

Preparing for this event has been hard work and just finishing the race will be quite a challenge, though hopefully an enjoyable one. Regardless, my legs will feel lighter, the water warmer, and the headwinds milder knowing that you are by my side supporting a great cause.

Please cheer by donating to Parkinson's UK!
