Story
What started out as a Marcothon - running 5km everyday of December - has become running 5k everyday for approaching 100 consecutive days.
I suffer from new daily persistent headache (migrainous form), and I wanted to do the Marcothon because regular exercise can be helpful for migraines. It also gave me a target for getting more active to improve my mental health, as I hadn't be running much due to experiencing a rough patch in my NDPH.
I thought I could use this as an opportunity to raise money for The Migraine Trust who help fund migraine research, including treatments. I have already worked through a number of the available treatments, and can appreciate first hand how much new, specific, research and treatments are needed.
