Some of you already know that I am a volunteer worker for Regenerate- RISE (1 day a week). I have been with the Charity for almost 1 year now and I have seen, first hand, how the lives of the isolated elderly can be transformed by meeting with others, getting a good hearty meal and having some self-dignity and self-respect again.

The target for Regenerate-RISE though for next year is to build a 'Reablement Centre' costing about £2.4m. I am trying to assist in raising funds here by jumping out of a plane at 14500 feet with Julia Przetakiewicz (COO of the Charity) and parachuting back to earth ! We are doing this on Sat June 1st and all will be videoed. The costs involved in making the jump have been paid for already so any donations through this web site go direct to the charity and no costs are involved.
