Story

A few years ago Martina came up with the idea of a walk taking in all 4 of MCVG's practices.  As we approach the anniversary of the loss of Martina, what better way to remember her than undertaking the walk that she suggested.  Starting at Balloch Surgery on the morning of Saturday 7th May we will cycle to the Nairn Surgery and then on to the Forres Surgery, finishing with a meal at Findhorn.  On Sunday 8th May, we will walk from Findhorn to the surgery in Lossiemouth. Some will do the full 2 days, others will do 1 day or part of a day.  The aim is to get as many of the MCVG team together in the way Martina used to do.  We are supporting two causes in Martina's memory:

Billy's Wish to Walk - A cause Martina supported and a little boy she admired for his courage & determination no matter what. To read Billy's story and to donate to this cause, please follow this link:

Willows Animal Sanctuary - When Martina originally had the idea for the walk, it was intended to support Willows. During the storms last year they suffered severe damage to their facilities and have since been struggling to raise enough funds for the necessary repairs.  To donate to willows, just click on the "Give now" button above.
