Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

8 days to go and I have completed all my big training runs. Manage three runs while away in Scotland. Ran along the river in Dumfries, The Tay in Dundee and then the Forth in Inverkeithing. Now to get a few small runs in and then get into the right mindset. Starting to feel a whole load of emotions, nervous, confident, apprehensive and excited!!

A big thank you to David Todd as well, for his help and camaradarie in running and not drinking. Also a big thank you to Ruth who has been supporting me with water on my long runs and for giving me some advice.

So why am I doing this? Well, other than the inspiration not to look like the above picture again!!!!!!!!!!!! I am looking to raise money for my local Sue Ryder hospice Thorpe Hall.  A valued local charity, that cares for people and their families through difficult times.

I'd really appreciate your support and any money you can donate will make those 26.2 miles (as well as training miles) feel a little easier.

Thank you.
