We help people trapped by unemployment to transform their future

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Here are a few words about the challenge and the charity:

·         The challenge is to climb the three highest peaks in England, Wales, Scotland within 20 hours as part of a team from Barclays and other businesses.  The event starts at the foot of Ben Nevis on the morning of 4 July and finishes on Snowdon  the morning of 5 July.

·         The charity I'm working with is Tomorrow’s People. Unemployment is one of the biggest problems facing society today with over 1 million under-25s in the UK out of work.  Tomorrow's People are dedicated to getting the most disadvantaged unemployed people in the hardest to reach parts of our communities into jobs, breaking the cycle of families where generation after generation do not work.  Tomorrow's People rely on the public's generosity to do their great work, so 20 hours of pain is a small price for me to pay to help their cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. We believe everyone should have the chance to build the best life they can, no matter how it started off. We empower young people who've grown up without hope and give them the confidence and the skills to find work, realise their potential, and value themselves.
