My daughter Katie and I are doing the Nightrider cycle ride in London on 6 June 2015.  We are raising money for the Ocean Youth Trust (South) which provides sailing adventures for young adults including those from disadvantaged or vulnerable backgrounds.  I  sail as a volunteer mate/staff onboard OYT(S)'s 72' ketch "John Laing"; Katie has enjoyed sailing as crew in the past.

I'v been doing my training rides up & down in the Blackdown Hills with height gains of 300-400m a session.  Katie meanwhile has been doing her's in London with gains of 30m a ride!  We are hoping that father & daughter team spirit & plenty of bacon sandwiches ( which we have been promised are available en-route) will help us get around the 100km route ...
