This year I'm running for St Mungo's Broadway, the charity that works with homeless people.  I take my home and supportive family almost for granted.  I'm one of the lucky ones.

St Mungo's provides beds for 2,500 people a night, and helps 25,000 folk who are at risk or already homeless every year.  The average life expectancy of a homless woman is 43, for a homeless man, it's 47.  I find that profoundly shocking.

Instead of giving cash on the street, this is a way your kindness can really help people in crisis.  Times are tight, but a fiver will help someone get their life back on track.
