When I heard that my company - Rapid Commercial Cleaning - had chosen Macmillan as their charity of the year, I knew that I had to get involved, particularly as I have had first hand experience of the support a Macmillan nurse provides. When my Dad was diagnosed with lung cancer, Teresa (his Macmillan nurse) patiently explained everything in great detail and she has been there every step of the way.

On 9th August 2014 we will be climbing Ben (as it is affectionately named in Scotland), along with two of my good friends - Aimee and Andrea.

All three of us have lost loved ones to Cancer and we want to do all that we can to assist Macmillan in providing support for patients and families.
