On the 10th of March a team of students from the University of Bristol and members of the charity Bosom Buddies will be coming together to swim the length of the English Channel. The 21 mile long attempt will be a continuous relay, taking the team up to 16 hours to complete. It’s the first event of its kind at the University of Bristol: with all funds directly supporting patients of breast cancer at the BRI.
This relay is a series of fundraising events helping support Bosom Buddies and the work it does in Bristol. In September 2012, two students from the University will be making an attempt to swim the English Channel. Visit the website http://www.21miles.org for more information.
