It was seven years ago when I did this challenge before - the furthest I've ever walked in one day.  My daughter was 13 then and I brought her along.  Now she's at University and we've been through momentous changes due to Covid, political upheaval, the cost of living crisis, mental and physical health challenges and the war in Ukraine.  All these changes have hit London hard and Octavia Foundation wants to help some of the worst affected individuals.  And maybe I can persuade my daughter to come along again!

Octavia Foundation support people affected by ill health, social isolation, low income or unemployment in central and west London through: Caring for older people through befriending and social activities. Supporting children and young people through inspirational projects and outreach work. Helping people into work through volunteering and training. Our vision is to build stronger, happier and healthier communities to help create an enriched life where we live.
