My mother Mary passed away peacefully on 31st March 2023. Her life was truly an adventure, from an early age she had a wanderlust! She lived in Singapore in her 20s and in South Africa in her 30s. Then, after moving back to the Midlands, she swapped English winters for the sunshine of Portugal or Spain with Les, where she made many long-lasting friendships.

Until a few years ago, her favourite pastime was getting behind the wheel of her car, with or without a caravan attached, and driving for hundreds of miles - which is why she chose wheelhappy as her email address! Later in her life, she learned to paint and became an accomplished artist.
