Story

Here we go!

When my second baby, Ayla, was four months old, I set myself the challenge of running a half marathon and completing an Olympic Triathlon in memory of my grandpa, a feat I knew would be difficult considering the very little exercise I had done since having my first baby over two years ago. I have been training since October and my first race, the RAK Half Marathon, will take place on 18th February shortly followed by the Olympic Triathlon at the start of March.

I have decided to raise money for The Injured Jockeys Fund, a charity very close to my grandpa’s heart.  Wish me luck – this will definitely be one of the toughest challenges of my life so far (trust me when I say, I am not a gifted runner!!)
