Ummah Welfare Trust was founded in 2001 with the goal of challenging the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three things :ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and righteous offspring who will pray for him." (Muslim)

Thousands of people don't have access to clean water in Gaza, and  we plan to raise 45K to build a water plant in Gaza.

Along with a group of friends who have recently started cycling, we will be riding from Birmingham to Oxford

Please help us and contribute something toward this worthy cause as every penny really counts

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “The best charity is giving water to drink"
