The Mater Hospital Foundation is the official fundraising body of the Mater Hospital. Funds raised through the Foundation are used to purchase state-of-the-art equipment, enhance facilities and develop special programmes to help the hospital remain at the forefront of first class medical care.

Story

Do you want to join us in supporting a good cause? Forty-five members of the multidisciplinary team working in the Mater Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU) are participating in the "100 Miles in a Month" Challenge this February to raise money for The Mater Foundation.

The ICU and HDU team is a dynamic and enthusiastic force working together in a challenging environment. We are one of Ireland's leading intensive care services, specialising in cardiac surgery, heart and lung transplantation, spinal surgery, and extracorporeal life support.

The money raised from the 100 Miles challenge will help our team of nurses and healthcare workers continue to deliver world-class care to our patients. Your contribution will make an impact, no matter the amount. Anything helps. Thank you for your support.
