Donating my hair to a child with cancer · 22 March 2014

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hello my name is Matilda and I am nine.

I am very excited about donating my hair because I like raising money for people who are sick and poor. I think this is a very good charity because it raises money for children who need it. As soon as I've raised my money my hair will be off. It will be donated to this wonderful charity and it will be made into a wig for a child who has cancer.

Please donate.  Thank you.

(Note from Matilda's Mum - she will be having her hair cut into a bob, not her head shaved.  She wanted her head shaved but I wouldn't let her!)
