Matilda has been growing her hair for some time, specifically to make it long enough to have 12 inches cut off in order to donate to the Little Princess Trust. 

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge to children & young adults that have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses. 

The big cut will happen on Sat 4th August and she would love to be able to raise some money for the charity at the same time, as some wigs need to be purchased by the charity if suitable donations of hair are not found. The miminum cost of a purchased wig is £350 which is what she would love to raise. 

Whilst part of me will be really sad to see her beautiful locks chopped off, I am so proud of her that she has decided to do something so wonderful of her own accord.
