Story
In a moment of excitement/weakness, I have signed up for day one of the Isle of Wight Challenge, on Saturday 29th April. It's 53km up and down the coastal path, with 1,000m of climbing...and given my somewhat light-touch approach to training, I will be fuelled by flapjacks, Bruce Springsteen and grimacing.
I am raising money for the Screwfix Foundation, which does amazing work to help organisations and communities by improving their buildings and facilities (more details below). I would be massively grateful for anything you could spare to support this very worthy cause. Many thanks, Matt.
The Screwfix Foundation provides grants to Charities & Not for Profit organisations who support those in need in our communities with projects that improve their physical spaces. For example we may provide a grant towards a project to decorate a homeless shelter, build a sensory room or towards a new boiler to improve energy efficiencies. Our grants help organisations carry on providing their amazing services whilst improving the environment they operate from. We also support Macmillan Cancer Support with a home improvement grant.
