The money raised on this page will be donated to Schistosomiasis Control Initiative (SCI) who work in partnership with Imperial College London in an effort to rid the world of neglected tropical diseases which affect the lives of over 1 billion people around the world.

SCI is one of a very few charities which focus exclusively on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). NTDs are so-called because treatment is cheap and effective, but chronically underfunded due to lack of publicity (and therefore donations).

SCI is one of the most cost effective charities in the world, treatment per child costs just $1.26
