Matthews younger son Fintan has an undiagnosed genetic syndrome. 

Once it became clear that Fintan had a significant developmental delay, we started looking for playgroups and therapies to help him. We were surprised to find that the options were very limited and expensive. 

Small Steps is the only therapy that we have found that is provided entirely free of charge to the families of disabled children. It also provides them with a precious opportunity to socialise with peers and provides their families with invaluable support and advice.
