I work for Trafigura and Refuge is the Trafigura London Office charity of the year. I am on the charity committee and as the other members do loads of other good stuff to contribute I thought I should do my bit, and losing weight is something of a 'win win'

Now I did consider a pounds (£s) for pounds (lbs.) approach but that just made the admin and monitoring difficult. Therefore my incentive is that I am going to do a sponsored parachute jump for Refuge on July 27th 2013, and to do that I have to shed the excess.

Having read the rules and if I do this in 'tandem' the weight limit is 15 stone, so this is my initial target. This is approx. 35 lbs. off my current weight so is no walk in the park (although that might help!)

So you are sponsoring me to get fit for my long term health benefits only to jeopardise my short term health launching myself out of a plane...
