Usually everyone at TCA throws a pound in a bucket to support charities for the final day of term on a non uniform day (as an excuse for wearing a dubious leopard print shirt)...but that couldn't happen this year.

Instead, three of us from TCA are hiking the 24 miles of the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Sunday for 'fun', and are hoping to raise a few quid for a BRILLIANT charity before we set off at 8am tomorrow morning.

Shine Bright Support was set up by my friend Bethan to offer families going through childhood cancer emotional support. I can't even begin to describe my admiration for her and her lovely family and the wonderful Eleri will be bright in my mind as I drag myself up the third peak behind two younger, fitter PE teachers.

We'll also have a special couple of chaps in our minds who are close to our hearts at TCA and, lads: we're doing it for you.
