Rhys started being sick from just a week old and week after week we were fobbed off by doctors and health visitors that he was just a sicky baby.

Once weaning the sickness got worse and he would be projectile vomiting across the room on a regular basis. With a lot of research and some help from a TFF member we were put in touch with fpies uk.

Fpies is a delayed food reaction which causes Rhys to be severely sick a few hours after consumption and he will continually be sick until he is almost lifeless. There's usually no warnings and he will go from a happy smiling boy to violently sick in seconds. Many health professions have never heard of it and this charity helped educate parents as well as the doctors. 

As well helping educate the professionals they also help the parents. So far Rhys is allergic to dairy, soya, egg, wheat, rice, chicken, beef, turkey, pork, strawberry's and lentils. This charity is pretty amazing at helping you think of new recipes!

They have helped us find the right specialists and increase our knowledge of what we need to ask for.
